IRVINE drivers have been warned of road closures as Scottish Water begin improvement works.
Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA), Scottish Water’s alliance partner, will be working in Irvine for about three months from February 27 to upgrade water mains.
The work will improve the security of supply to customers in the area.
During the work, the road traffic management will include the closure of the junction of Ayr Road and McKinlay Crescent for five days from Monday February 27 to Friday March 3.
The road traffic management will also include the use of temporary traffic lights and some access and parking restrictions.
Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience and thanks affected road users in advance for their patience and understanding.
