A FORMER dux winner at an Irvine school paid a visit to her old stomping ground recently.
Norma-Ann Coleman (nee Clayton) returned to Loudoun Montgomery Primary School last week to view the Coronation Dux Board which she won in 1959.
The visit was to help promote a recently-restored book charting the history of the school.
Norma, accompanied by former MP Brian Donohoe who helped bring the book back to life, was shown around the whole school by head teacher Jan Richmond.
And the memories certainly came flooding back to Norma when she spotted the old teachers desk and chair.
The book is still on sale and will be available for purchase at the Loudoun Montgomery Christmas market on Thursday, December 1 between 6-8pm.
Copies can also be purchased from Mr Donohoe by emailing donohoebrianh@gmail.com.
