AN Irvine woman has denied running down a six-year-old boy in Irvine.
Alana Morrison, of Livingstone Terrace, is also accused of driving off after hitting the boy in Old Caley Road on March 31.
The 23-year-old denies driving dangerously and at excessive speeds in a residential area with children present near to the roads.
Morrison allegedly failed to pay proper attention to the road before hitting the boy with her car.
She thereafter allegedly failed to stop and provide her details.
Although she was absent from Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week, a plea of not guilty was tendered on Morrison's behalf.
She will stand trial in March.
